Konkani writer Peter Paul Quadros (68) passes away at Shankerpura

Udupi, 13 Feb 2017: Sixty-eight-years-old Peter Paul Quadros, farmer and Konkani writer, a parishioner of St John’s parish, Shankerpura, near here passed away, owing to brief illness on Sunday, February 12.

 

 

He was engaged in jasmine farming, well known Konkani writer with the pen name ‘Papi Kurkal’ contributed articles that were published in many Konkani publications.

 

He is the recipient of Konkani Man Monis Award by Karnatka Konkani Sahitya Academy.

 

He is survived by his wife, children and grand children.
