Mangaluru: State admin sanctions Rs 5 crore to develop Kannagudde Road

Mangaluru, 07 Jan 2017: The state administration has sanctioned Rs 5 crore, in order to Kannagudde Road, here. It further needs Rs 10 crore, said MLA J R Lobo.
MLA Lobo discussed the issue with locals while on his visit to Kannagudde locality, here, on Friday, January 6.
He said, ‘The locals were pleading the municipal authorities to develop the road since the past 3 years. I have taken the initiative to sanction Rs 5 crore under CRF. It needs Rs 10 crore more that will be sanctioned from concerned authorities if the locals co-operate,’ assured MLA Lobo.
The developed road will link Mangaluru – Moodbidri NH and Mangaluru – Bengaluru NH, added MLA Lobo.
The local corporator Prakash Alape, Denis D’Silva, NHAI officer Abdul Rehman, municipal officers Srinivas and Yashwant, KSRTC director T K Sudhir, locals Henry D’Souza and Arun, and others were present.
