Biker dies after hitting divider; pillion rider suffers severe injuries

 

Udupi, 30 Dec 2016: In a tragedy reported, a youngster was killed while another suffered severe injuries after a bike hit the divider near Karavali Circle here in the city.

 

Pavan Kumar (20) lost his life while pillion rider Sakshi suffered severe injuries and was rushed to KMC Hospital, Manipal. It is said that they were Medical students.

 

While it is unknown when the accident took place, passersby found Pavan and Sakshi lying beside the divider on Friday morning. Pavan was dead by then while Sakshi was found to be breathing and was taken to a hospital.

 

A case has been registered.
