ICC hosts Community Farewell

Qatar, 08 May 2024: Indian Cultural Centre, under the aegis of the Embassy of India, hosted a community farewell for its Managing Committee member, Mrs. Sumaa Mahesh Gowda. Ambassador of India to Qatar, H.E. Mr. Vipul, graced the occasion by his presence. A large number of Indian community representatives were present on this occasion.

 

 

ICC’s General Secretary, Mr. Mohan Kumar, welcomed the audience. Various Indian community leaders spoke about Mrs. Sumaa’s rich contribution towards the Indian community. ICC’s President Mr. A.P. Manikantan highlighted her contribution in the past as well as in the ongoing managing committee’s activities. H.E. Mr. Vipul appreciated Mrs. Sumaa for the role she essayed as Head of Cultural Activities at ICC and wished her well for her move. In her speech, Mrs. Sumaa thanked the community for their appreciation and support.

 

ICC’s Vice President Mr. Subramanya Hebbagelu gave away Vote of Thanks. Mr. Shantanu Deshpande, Head of School Activities at ICC, anchored the event proceedings.
