Parapady Lady of Perpectual Succer Parish celebrated Monti Fest in a grand manner

Karkal, 09 Sep 2013: The catholic faithful of Nimal Padav, Parapady celebrated feast of Nativity of B.V. Mary in a grand manner at the Lady of Perpetual Succer Church. The celebrations began with showering of flowers to the statue of Mother Mary by little children at the grotto. The blessing of the new corn (Novem) was conducted by Rev. Fr. Denis lobo, Pilar fathers who was the main celebrant.

 

The parish priest Fr. Vincent Lobo welcomed everyone and wished all the congregation a blessed and Happy Monti Fest. During the homily Fr. Denis gave faithful the message of inculcating Mother Mary and devotion through Mother Mary to meditate the Paschal mystery of Jesus Christ.

 

 

After the holy mass the blessed corn, sweets and the sugarcane was distributed to all attend the mass. Parish priest Fr. Vincent Lobo wished everyone Happy Family Feast.

 

The mass was attended by more than 350 parishioners and witnessed and celebrated the event in a grand manner.
