Mangaluru, 20 Feb 2015: Swami Rajashekaranand of Vajradehi mutt, here who was also the instrumental in making entrepreneur Vijay Vittal Shetty as the president of VHP Samajotsav slammed the district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai saying he wants votes of only minorities that led to the arrest of activists of Hindu communal outfits.
Swami Rajashekaranand was addressing the flagging-off ceremony of bike rally that was held on Thursday February 19, ahead of Virat Hindu Samajotsav to be held at Nehru maidan here on Sunday March 1 in commemoration of VHP’s golden jubilee.
‘The district-in-charge minister wants only the votes of minorities. He does not want the votes of Hindus. If anyone declares himself as a Hindu, he is criticized.
