Mangalore, 24 July, 2013 : Practice of good food habits and regular exercise will pave way for a healthy life for office goers, said Dr Satish Kumar Bhandary, dean of K S Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA).
Addressing the participants of the fourth batch of ICICI Bank sales officers, at Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance, during the valedictory function, here on Wednesday July 23, Dr Bhandary stressed the importance of health management to bankers, who are preoccupied with the wealth management of the nation.
Dr M S Moodithaya, director of Nitte Institute of Banking and Finance emphasized the need of disciplined work culture inside and outside the branch for a purposeful and successful career and life.
Dr N K Thingalaya, former CMD of Syndicate Bank, presided the function.
Professor Emeritus Dr N S Shetty was also present on the occasion.
K R Nayak welcomed the gathering. M S Rao proposed vote of thanks. Vinayak Prabhu compered the programme.

As the saying goes after the meal walk a mile. Body exercises are very essential to keep active all our body organs. People are habituated watching TV, browsing internet, chating..etc and become very lazy. We donot do exercises until the doctor declare the emergency. There are various methods to do physical exercises to keep fit our body. This awareness should be broughtin during the childhood days itself and made it a practice in day to day life. |
