Mangaluru: Soombe, Tulu movie set to premier on Feb 13

 

Mangaluru, 11 Mar 2015: ‘Much-awaited Tulu movie of the season ‘Soombe’ will be premiered in 12 theaters of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts on Friday March 13 and the official release will be at Jyoti theatre here,’ said Saikrishna Kudla, the director of the movie.

 

Addressing the media persons at Cinepolice cinemas, City Center, here on Wednesday March 11, Saikrishna further said, ‘The movie produced by 4 brothers, features well known comedians of Tulu theatre including Devdas Kapikkad, Naveen D Padil, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor and Sundar Rai Mandara along with Kannada comedians Bullet Prakash and Biradar. Well-known Kannada actor Shreeenagara Kitty has also made the guest appearance in the movie,’ said Saikrishna.

 

 

‘We’re introducing 2 young talented Raul and Shreetama Mukherjee for Tulu filmdom. It’s a blend of love story with comedy. We hope Tulu audience will accept new experiment,’ added Saikrishna.

 

Speaking on the occasion, one of the producers of the movie Kishore Kottari said, ‘The movie with two-and-a-half-hour duration has come out rich beyond expectations. The songs have been appreciated. We’re looking forward for the good response.’

 

New lad Rahul thanked the director and producers for the chance.

 

Music director of the movie Edberg Dillon, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Prasanna Shetty Bailoor and others were present.
